  • How about checking out the drugs he cites. In the UK, specific medicines are not covered. Care is rationed and people are treated based on actuarial tables.

Read the facts. It is one thing to disagree, but another to speak from ignorance.

  • @TheGoalSetter Yes I am a proud member of "The Rand Paul Curb Stomp Brigade". Thanks for noticing.

"No society can legitimately call itself civilised if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of means" ~ Nye Bevan, architect of the National Health Service

  • @psujim85 continued:

There are always problems with every healthcare system - public, private, or a fusion or both as in many European countries. It is true ignorace to imply that private medical care is automatically better.

    Long live the NHS!

    Thank you Attlee and Bevan!

  • @psujim85 That is rubbish. NHS Trusts are required to provide universal and unlimited cover. If they can't, they refer them to another trust that can. For instance, the NHS recently funded foreign treatment for a young boy abroad for a treatment that had not yet arrived in the UK.

Furthermore, there is nothing to stop a British person from taking out private health insurance. Few do, obviously, but there is no rationing, no lottery - it's all a right wing myth. I speak from experience.

  • @TheGoalSetter Even if his son is his running mate?

  • @DanielDamascusKimery

By not allowing real discussion, Paul-fanatics drive away principle-based Paul supporters.

You are like that stomper at Rand's debate...whipped up in a frenzy, he makes bad decisions.

    I hereby dub you a Paul-stomper (TM).

Anyway, good luck with the elections. I will vote for Ron Paul despite you Paul-stompers.

  • @TheGoalSetter Did I say that? You have a right to an opinion and I have a right to call you an Idiot for voicing it. Please keep bad mouthing the Paul Family I beg you. It's Idiots like you that got Ron Paul 81% of the vote in his District even though he had 3 opponents. Having a moron oppose you can be just as beneficial as having a Genius support you. Ron Paul/Rand Paul 2012

  • @DanielDamascusKimery

Do you really want me to just STFU and support the Pauls and not question anything they do?

  • @TheGoalSetter It's a good thing that he didn't need your money to get elected then huh?

  • @DanielDamascusKimery

The reason I was attracted to Ron Paul was his strict devotion to reason and principles. I will always choose principles over people...even the Pauls.

Rand embraced the neocons, lied about inexperience being a good thing. That is why I didn't send him a penny.

Note: The Pauls play 'politics'; cutting corners in some areas, but oddly stay consistently against the Civil Rights Act. Very telling.
