  • i was thinking about getting one of these kits for a homemade buggy im building. Does it come with everything you need to hook up and go? I saw on some other comments that you need to buy a voltage regulator so you dont fry it??? I dont know much about electronics. Any help is appreciated. Also, I'm using engine from 2001 Buell Blast 500cc due to its simplicity but am not so sure about electrics! It most likely has a voltage regulator already on it that i can hook up vapor to??

    Thanks.

  • @mcskatin I honestly can't say what all you'll need for that specific application. IIRC, I did need to buy some additional wiring kits for it, but I don't recall which off the top of my head. If you check their website, I think they had kits they were selling specific to certain applications, so they may have one for the Blast. If not, give them a call--I seem to remember them being quite helpful when we (members at SVRider.com) were trying to figure out how to wire it all up for the SV.
