  • HEy the guy that called me stupid. U telling me that after u drove ur bosses truck onesu got more experience hauling? And I didnt say which one is faster. I also didnt say anything about 6.4 or chipped all stock. And all diesel trucks can have 4 digit hp if modified just right. So dont be running ur mouth. Calling people names. And grow up.

  • Its for easy and fast turning . Its a little wheel that u hold on.

  • ya that is a f350 with the 7.3

  • I dont know about the newer fords all I hear is that they break fast

I do know the 7.3 2001 its slow but very dependable and u just cant kill it.

I also know that the chevy with the 6.6 2003 and up the 3500 are beasts

With 3 cars on a trailer after it raind I stepped on it and I was spinning like crazy

Cant fell no weight. U just have to get the one with the more hp there are 2 6.6 engines and there is allot of difference between them in torque.

  • true now i pull with the 6.6 chevy i can do that hill with same weight

doing about 60 not trying to go faster because it over heats when i step on it.

  • I fully agree duramax is faster but powerstroke will out tow anyday

  • You can go up the hill slow as many times as you want, but you can only go down the hill too fast once

  • you need to go to the floor with that mother f*****, let her eat

  • @MegaLimera1n Then explain how a 7.3 with less power than the new F-250s is pulling 25000 lbs?

Hell, ive hauled 23,000 lbs in a v10 f-350 dumptruck.

  • @xtremeracing69 powerstroke is from ford but is operated by international

  • @MicroOrginisum no im not fuckin wit u - IM DEAD SERIOUS it used 2 be 21000lb and now its 23,000lb - and dont shit with f450 cant do 25000- its 24500-(on the f450)

the f350 can only tow up to = 22700

I READ FACTS NOT LIES BITCH!!!!

  • @MegaLimera1n Hahah are you kidding me? I don't think the 3500 duramax can tow 40,000 lbs like the F-750. It's max towing is 21,000 lbs and the F-350's is 25,000 lbs.

  • @edcs13 sorry budd.. international?...

  • @xtremeracing69 fords gone down hill since the 7.3 they havent had a good motor since they all have head and egr cooler issues cummins is the way to go

  • Is that in pennsylvania?

  • after reading the title, i was half expecting this video to be some bullshit fake with no footage of the trailer and only a view of the speedo at 70mph. i'm glad to see that was not the case. diesel power! haha

  • @fubecabr issues unlike the pre-torqshift (the torqshifts are amazing trannies.) Last is dodge. there aren't that many in fleet service (and for a reason I can see) The engine is amazing, never had to work on any cummins pickups engines except for little things. The truck built around it is less than stout. ESPECIALLY THEIR AUTOMATIC. Maybe it's cause the cummins puts out so much torque, but it isn't too good. But even the rest of the truck is built pretty poorly. Ford trucks do hold up the best

  • @fubecabr I'm an apprentice/mechanic at a diesel shop where we service all makes/models (cept imports). And, we mostly do fleet work, so these are bone stock trucks. First Best is the 7.3 Powerstroke. Not too many issues, fairly bulletproof. Truck built around them (specially with the 5 and 6 speeds) Seem to be able to handle the abuse of company drivers the best. Next is the D-Max, Pretty stout, However they just don't last AS long. Truck around them is built decently. Never had too many tranny

  • @sergeyhome your too stupid to talk i drove my old bosses modded duracrap and ive felt more power outta cars limpin a cylinder short friggin joke...any diesel will spin with bald tires on a rainy day. and the 6.4 with mods is capable of 4 digit hp numbers reliably no chitty can claim that. and new 6.7 ford diesel well its just a brute motor and quite as all hell

  • @xtremeracing69 was towing more than chevy but, look at the chevy website now - the 3500 has more payload and towing and only the f550 - f750 can beat them in towing and durramax is still faster

    srry bud

  • @xtremeracing69 Maybe the older ones? But a tuned 6.4 is faster than any tuned duramax.

  • @fubecabr But the 300cu there are most likely a thousands of videos of that happening

They are honestly the best motor ever made, no issues, no wiring issues, plus you know what milage you'll be getting cause they never change! xD

I'm glad you atleast see that

  • @fubecabr The diesel site that I'm on currently(its a powerstroke site) they talk about all trucks

Dodge, Chevy and Fords, but some of the guys own Duramaxs and they aren't what most people think, great tranny behind the truck, but, motor doesn't get the 20 mpg, the one guy I heard from, he was fighting to try and break 15 or 10. The guy has also had to fix the engine god knows how many times it is confusing as hell

But the Ford 4 speed is crappy, I agree, but the 5 and 6 speeds are great!

  • @mirlin235

I haven't heard that the DMAX is hard to work on or that they break easy.

Both the dodge and ford 4 spd autos were crap. In fact, I'm thinking about selling my 99 and buying a 6spd because I'm afraid of the tranny blowing up. If you get put $4000 into the tranny, it'll be bulletproof. But fuck that, I'd rather have a 6spd.

That old 300 I6 is is an awesome engine. You can't kill it. IIRC, I saw a cash for clunkers video where that motor ran on liquid glass for HOURS, not minutes.

  • @mirlin235 Thats just my two cents worth

I love my 4.9L inline six, I also love my 1990 F150, I love the body style, I love the 5 speed manual, and if Ford still offered the manual transmission, I'd buy one in a heart beat

I wouldn't mind a 7.3L Powerstroke however, but thats going to be down the road, when I have more money and have a boat

  • @fubecabr I'm speaking from the heart, I don't like Duramax

They are really confusing, and hard to work on, and the trucks that they are built around are not given enough strength, and are easy to break

Dodges, samething, cept they have a great engine, shitty body and transmission, and horrible, I mean horrible body designs

Ford, great strong bodys, tough transmissions, but very crazy engines, sometimes they work fine, sometimes they don't

I got myself a F150, with an inline 6, and I love it

  • @mirlin235

Flip a coin, they're all great except the early 6.0L powerstrokes. Seriously, take off your fan boy hat. DMAX is an awesome engine. So are most of the powerstrokes. Every interation of the Cummins is an absolutely phenomenal engine. Feel lucky that you can afford to purchase and operate any of these state of the art motors.

  • @spydergs07

Used stock 7.3Ls can be all over the map, especially concerning the condition of the HPOP. Mine was slower than the worst econoboxes until I put an upgrade HPOP, exhaust, and custom tunes on it.

  • @needmorediesel

Speed for a given load up a given grade is directly related to the power output of the engine.

  • @abram7117

Stock 7.3L severely underfueled and can't get out of its own way. Chip it and it runs like a raped ape.

The 7.3L also significantly quiets down with an ATS turbo housing and 1qt of 2 stroke oil per fillup. Or do like me and run 85% waste motor oil and it sounds like a gasser.

  • @sergeyhome

Hope you have gauges, EGTs are more destructive than high water temps.
