New York rock band Certain General perform 3 songs -- "Certain General Theme", "Propoganda", and "Red Ledge" at the historic 'Avenue B Is The Place To Be' outdoor concert on August 9, 1981. This concert was held in NYCs East Village Tompkins Square Park bandshell (torn down in the early 90s) and featured other New York City bands like Liquid Liquid and the Bush Tetras. Digitally restored video footage orginally shown on Manhattan public access television. Thanks to Danny.
Any film from the other bands that played that day?

That's Parker. They all probably rushed right across the Ave A to Lucy's after the gig. BTW, this sounds a bit like Sad Lovers And Giants.

Is that Parker Delaney doing vocals or did he join later? I went to college w/him. BTW, sound a bit better in retrospect.

Brilliant and original. Rocking and poetic. Imagine such a show taking place now in Thomkins Square Park now? It'd never happen. There is no musical culture in NY anymore.
