On Saturday 10 December over 60 members of the RSNO Chorus performed at Glasgow Airport and toured to locations across the city; the new Riverside Museum, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall steps at the top of Buchanan Street, performing the chosen top five Christmas carols as well as performing their own festive favourite. The final performance of the day was held on the concourse at Glasgow's Queen Street Station, where passengers were treated to an extended set, with chorus members and ScotRail staff raising money for CHAS (Children's Hospice Association Scotland).
Top Five Carols were, in reverse order: O Come O Come Emmanuel; o Come All Ye Fathful, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing; O Holy Night and the winner, In the Bleak Midwinter. We received hundreds of votes and In The Bleak Midwinter won by a narrow margin; 12% of vote to 10% for O Holy Night.
