my convict is a bully lol. we were told that the convict and the oscar would not work well in a tank together :(

Convicts are very very strong and fast. I'd probably say they'd take out the Oscar of needed. Oscars have big powerful jaws, but convicts are natural born fighters. I've seen them kill armored plecos, Jack Dempseys, and various other fish simply through fast moving thrashing or planned attacks that other fish can't outdo.

@NorthwoodTimberwolve yeah lol i know they can keep piranhas at bay if they have to.. to me it seems like a waste.. i mean, theyre suck pretty fish and feeder guppies can breed just as fast, and you can buy thousands of crickets for them...

@zookeeper2345 cuz they breed like mice, not because they're pussy cichlids... Oscars get big but they aren't tough guys by any means
