  • A viewer thought I was slapping Shira and that I should be using a cup to give the chest percussions. I would like to state that for me the most effective way to perform CPT is with my hand because I get a good solid Chest Percussion. Cups work best for people with small hands. My wife uses a cup but I don't believe you get as good a percussion with a cup My hands are cupped but in the video you might not be able to see that aspect of my hand technique. Brad

  • I WILL FIND A CURE FOR YOUR DAUGHTER.

  • I can see that your hand is cup but you should hear a percus noise not a slapping noise. Sorry your getting the segments good just focus on more of the percus. or just slaaping her. Its not the force its the percus loosening. just adding my two cents. other then that you did a great job.

  • Hi! You're an amazing father! Have you ever watched the "Michelle's CPT" technique?

It's really lovely how you've involved you daughter on the therapy giving the duck and the monkey CPT as well! My best wishes for your family!

  • pauvre petit coeur je lui souhaite plein de bonheur dans sa vie !!!

  • sorry just to a post below...

seriously? I am in respiratory therapy, you would know if he was slapping the child.

You can hear it's cupped. Besides she'd likely be crying if it was slapping! :D

you ARE fabulously dedicated! applaud you, she is lucky to have you two as her mum and dad

    best of luck

  • your positioning is just fine ,but the way you do the chest clapping shows very poor technique ( it should be CUPPED HAND not flat to prevent injury, and you didn't target the proper section of the chest) if you still doing that way of clapping until now, well it,s not that effective

  • I have never seen anyone successfully a child with such a complex condition. I'm happy for you in regards to having skills and courage to go through this.

  • atrophy
