I got this guitar from the father of a deceased Vietnam War veteran. It was his son’s. Captain Ronald Alan Ross was killed in battle on October 31, 1969. I played this guitar at a veteran’s memorial dedication in his home town with an actual rubbing from the wall displayed on the guitar. Not a dry eye in the park. I have physical possession of this guitar, but spiritual ownership is still the Captain’s.

WOW,,,I got-ta play that over, God bless you young lady. Im 70 yrs old & lve been "messing" with a guitar for most of my life until a few yrs ago ( arthrites stop`ed that ) but l could never come close to playing like you. I`ll bet Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, & a lot more are smileing down at you. l wish you the very best of luck...

Fantastic playing, great guitar and you look beautiful!
Please tell me how you learned to play like this. I have tried the alternate base note thing many times, but just can't get my thumb to be "independent". Any special drills or easier songs you can recommend?
Thanks for putting this and your other videos on YouTube - I'll keep coming back.
are you tuned down?

Open G tuning. It may be sharp or flat. I didn't have a tuner with me.
