Dokken was an awesome band of the time and here's the proof. Their image costume wise was borderline horrble! I'm talking about the early records. Almost as bad as twisted sister or enuffs n nuff at times. But people knew good guitar playing and song writing then, so they were still one of the bands close to the top. Ratt dressed just as bad, but had the same chops dokken did so they kicked ass as well.. I will always listen to good hair metal!!!!

@davedropd1 The 80's were'nt about image like some people try to say. The 90s forward has been about image over quality. But I totally agree. Music from the 1970s and 1980s was kick ass and Dokken were right there kickin it with the best of them. \m/ \m/

This is like one of the best songs Ive ever heard of my 22 years of being on earth. That end guitar solo just gives me the chills around 4:22, such sick guitar tone.

My favorite note is from 2:53 to 2:55. Just listen to how much he's getting out of that one single note. He worms it right into your brain with that nasty horizontal vibrato. Here's this incredible fast lick, and if that doesn't blow your mind I'll finish it off with a single fat note that you can't possible ignore cuz I'm sticking it RIGHT IN YOUR FACE!

Not a good rhythm player???? Really?? He's a freaking genius lol. Jake is a great guitarist as well but IMO George is at the very least as good if not better than Jake has ever been.
