What the children (critiques) are trying to convey with their words of "crap" - they are wanting the knowledge to be downloaded into their minds; opposed to actually earning the knowledge through listening and repetition - basic hard work. In order to learn "music" learn "bass" in theory and to master the instrument and theories....will take quite awhile....years. The critics are trying to say is that their own special set of disabilites (we all have them) - is preventing them from learning.

@fishfrizbee That's the biggest pain in the ass about Expert Village right there. They've got over 100,000 videos on here and in all that time no one there had the simple thought "Hey, maybe we should number these videos in a given subject so people know what order and how many there are to watch." It's like their channel is run by retarded monkeys.

@zerniel I don't think you quite understand what I'm trying to say. I wasn't necessarily trying to tear him down. But say you're trying to get better at bass; would you rather be taught by a bassist that actually "knows" what they're talking about, or would rather learn from another crappy bass player... There are much better instructional videos out there that demonstrate everything that this guy is attempting.

You're right btw... Talent doesn't come easy... that's why they call it practice!

@tomk08 So what if you think he's terrible, that's not really a good reason to be mean. Talent is not something we're born with, everyone of us once didn't know something in their life. There was a time when even Jimmy Hendrix didn't know how to play guitar. This video may not be helpful for you, but I'm sure there are some who find it helpful. So if you don't like it, just move on.

@zerniel Your right people are mean Lol,  But its not the teacher that is to blame its expert village because they put out tons of half assed video's that are out of order/context/ fucken everything. only a few video's are truly helpful

@zerniel Because this guy is truly terrible. He doesn't even have the basics down enough to be proficient at the most remedial bass lines. If you are serious about learning how to play bass, there are MUCH better tutorials out there other than this guy.
