Very nice technique. I've seen some videos from overseas where they have removed those pesky light sensors and rigged the knife and clamp to come down with only the pedal. Makes me a little queezy. The guy's lucky to have his fingers. I used to run a Polar 115ED. Sometimes I kinda miss it!

Aaaah! That looks SO cool!! Awesome job. Do you know how much a cutter like that costs? I'm completely ignorant... is this like $1k, $10k, $100k? I wish i had your job.

@funkymcnuggets You could probably buy one this old for a few thousand if you caught a shop in liquidation. New, you dont want to know, lol.

aren't your supposed to jog it to the gripper and what's up with the flip? try doing that with glossy papper and man sized lifts

the flip is a handy little trick for when you're cutting 8up work and turn postcards that have to all be brick stacked the same way. I can do it with about 500 sheets of #80 coated text 12 x 18, but anything bigger than that would end up on the floor, lol

thats an easy job. post something you cut with a bit of effort to it cuttings a gift anyway, dont you think i got bored of it and moved onto hiedelberg and stahl folders.

Not all jobs are difficult, the bulk of the smaller jobs are business cards, & 2 or 3 lift short run jobs. I also moved from cutting to folding, but out of necessity I run pretty much everything. Windmill & flatbed's where the fun is.
