@tosan1 I agree completely. My kids' social studies textbooks don't mention Iran (Persia) at all and neither do their teachers! It's disgusting! Nobody can deny the vast contributions Iranians have made to the modern world.

@Timsar81 Do not bother with people who just say things about anyone without knowing anything about the person. I met Dr. Fry in 1968 I guess in Shiraz when he was taking over where Dr. Pope had left of. He is a very intelligent man and very interesting to talk to. My wife and I had a long conversation with his wife as well. He just like Dr. Arthur Op-ham Pope and his wife Dr. Phyllis Ackreman Pope are people who really loved Iran.

Wow, I almost forgot how beautiful the Persian language sounds... Wow... I can't wait to begin studying it again. Hopefully this time I will study it with many people who already speak it fluently.
