... "I am a bad person", since he says "I'm so sorry". Now, Cosmo's face, in combination with the blurring of the camera and the sound of the gun suggest him being sick, being in the grip of a vice, but the way he has entered the house, has put the idea he received into action, suggest him to be the bearer and transmitter of desease as well. Ambiguity in the sense of being victim and victimizer at once, the relationship of which has an incredibly complex dynamic throughout the film.

I think I was talking about both a concrete and kind of an abstract double meaning, being about the function of shooting, killing, entering another one's house and destroying someone else's family. The bookie says: "I am so bad", which is an ambiguous sentence: It seems to mean "I am sick", but at the same time...
