Nice presentation but you're confusing medical shock (e.g. hypovolemic shock) with emotional shock (aka "acute stress reaction)--the former can kill you, the latter absolutely cannot (unless there is some kind of preexssting cardiovascular condition and the person has a heart attack--that's not shock, though). You don't want to have therapists thinking that emotional shock can kill their clients!
