The graphical settings for the beta a toned down alot from what they will be in the real game. These graphic settings are only for the beta, and will be improved vastly before release. The beta is mainly for server stability, all NPC's buildings and nodes are there for testing the scripts and mechanics. The graphics are not to be frowned upon because all of the beta is a simple "Place holder" for the beta TESTING itself. This is an actual BETA and should be treated as such.

@jonjon2392 No, in these older videos that's how it was but it's not like that anymore. Because during these older videos the best weapons in the game were easily crafted, but now that the actual crafting system is in the rare weapons are hard to find, same with the armor. So everything is balanced out now.

Quarter four. Or november/December, plan on Q2 next year though. They won't release the game until it's done.

@gmanleader0 Oh you can block like that just fine, you just take minimal damage i presume. A shield just is better for defensive players.

Cause it seems like it's fucking difficult to block with sword =\

I mean really CAN you even block with a 1/2 handed weapon(without shield) or parry or something?
