  • I just stumbled onto this video and it really touched me. What a wonderful thing that you got to spend this time with him. I have mostly seen you in videos with Andy, but this shows a side of you that is so much more. I subscribed to your channel after seeing you in videos from the South Tube gathering, especially your inter action with Johnathan when playing cards with him. You are quite a lady. I wish you would make more videos, sincerely, you are an interesting person and very kind.

  • @Ativabrand Oh Judy kinder words have not been spoken. OK I'll put up another video in the Alaska cruise series.

  • @cindyjo57 What a wonderful video, and wonderful story. You are a great

person to work with these people in various stages of alzheimers. God bless

you, and I hope you continue to work in your field for many years to come.

  • @donpazer Thank you for the lovely words, and I am now 54 and plan to retire with this job. This job found me which is interesting.

  • I know this video is a few years old, but I stumbled into it and I just want to say you did a wonderful thing for him. Bless you and Merry Christmas!

  • @PauleQueenie To a lot of people it is just a way to pay the bills, not a way to connect with another human being. Honestly it is understandable as my wage was a big consideration when I thought about getting into the profession. And as health care workers we earn every cent we get and then some.

  • @PauleQueenie Unfortunately it all goes back to government cut backs. There is only so much time to get all that is needed to get done so the one on one time sadly is what has to be given up on. The point is that it is not just that one patient that is special it is they are all special and if they are all approached with love and caring and open mind when you have the time to get to know them all of this specialness would come out.
