Yeah, i guess so... And when the moneygrabbingmusicrapist's come, i hope i grab on to my 12" collection and run free to the vast lakes of sibreria and stay in cover until they find a new way to make a quick profit of some growing scene... And i shall cry: "Rape! Rape!" while doing so...
believe me.. soon or later that day will come but i don't give a shit tbh real dubheads know what real dubstep is, couldnt care less about the rest of the world.
You guys should just hope that you dont one day turn on the telly and see som lady gaga popmainstreamfool trying to do a Rnbelectrovoic'd falsetto over a water'd down dubstep beat...
of course man.. i know what your sayin but i think they meant american producers with ''american scene'', not how well known it is in the us. but i agree, you forgot matty g btw ;)
i was just stating all those artists to show there's nothing wrong with the scene over here, but there's plenty great american dubstep producers. check out 6blocc, the widdler, starkey, DZ, kozee, falty DL, USA has PLENTY of nice dubstep talent guys, gotta dig for it but it's there
you'r actually naming 4/5 from the UK scene.. what does that have to do with the US scene?
anyway, i really agree with you man.. people that are comparing this shit just can't stand it dubstep is getting global, specially uk people are having a hard time with that, wich i can actually understand, but still.. as i said a 1000 times before, its about the music, not where the music comes from.
i hate when people compare music scenes. especially this whole UK vs US dubstep scene nonsense. the scene here in the US is MASSIVE and still growing. i just saw joker 2 weeks ago, before that saw plastician, mary anne hobbs, scuba, got to smoke with rusko, skream b2b benga, borgore, and mala..and ive seen many others. that alone should show theres nothing wrong with our scene. sure it originated in the UK but dubstep is global now. recognize!
