This clip is part of an amazing A Cappella performance by The Vocal Majority from Dallas, Texas, of the latest Jim Clancy arrangement of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," recorded live at The Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas, during the Sunday evening performance of their annual Christmas Show. This popular song takes on a Christmas sound, with a new verse written by Jim Clancy about the Hallelujahs sung at the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. Visit http://www.vocalmajority.com/fl/VMStore.html to get your stereo recording of the entire song for only $1.

  • @gallalong - the full version has two Cohen verses, and an original third verse by Jim Clancy that made the song more appropriate as a Christmas song. Turned out pretty well. Full video version is available on our website, and a studio audio recording will be available this week at our Dallas Christmas shows.

  • This is a very moving song. you should post this video on Wimp.com too!

  • @TheMagicNurse - Thanks for the heads up. Uploading it now. Merry Christmas!

  • @bigmamabass ~ I totally agree ~ great way to describe them! :)

  • It is absolutely beautiful, but definitely not Leonard Cohen lyrics. Who wrote these lyrics?

  • Vocal Majority is your one-stop goose bumps shop! ;-) LOVE IT!

  • Best a cappella!!!!!!

  • Do you have the full video?? Amazing clip!!

  • @AlexHitrov English translation please.

  • Прекрасные ,божественные голоса!!!

  • My father sang with the VM for many years. It was amazing to see them perform. That many spot-on voices can move your soul just like a full-piece orchestra.
