Richard C. Hoagland and the Ziggurat on the Moon

On July 20, 2012, Richard C. Hoagland told an audience of several million people on the Coast to Coast AM radio show that he found a ziggurat on the far side of the Moon in an Apollo 11 photo. Great work. Except when you say that shadows on the Moon must be pitch black. That is a well known fallacy usually spouted by Moon hoax theorists. Shadows on the Moon are usually darker than on Earth because the lunar sky is dark - however light can still reflect off other surfaces and illuminate shadow areas. The famous photo of Buzz Aldrin descending the LM ladder while completely in the shadow of the LM is the best known example which shows that the shadows are not completely black.

I thought of that about an hour after I posted the video. The region has no hills nearby that would scatter light onto the ziggurat surface, so it's still a reasonably valid point, but if I could ever replace this video (YouTube doesn't seem to allow that capability ...) I would redo the audio to make that point. I'd also add in the WAC imagery to show that they're really just craters from a top-down view.

I don't get it? I can see the thing on your video when you fade the Ziggurat out. Second vid found claiming it isn't there where I can see its there. So I went and looked it up. Copied and played with contrast/brite & so on. Cant get it as clear but it is still there. 40/40 vision recognition I guess. Why the campaign against Rick(?) Not sure. But I can see it before messn with it. There are a number of oddity's in the original including duplications.
