A Plazatron uses a super high energy plasma laser to bounce beams off satellites to strike nuclear missiles within moments after a launch is detected and confirmed. Systems may also be space based. One Plazatron can disable hundreds of ICBMs within seconds.

The United States cannot stop nuclear proliferation because this can be done in secret underground. However, we can develop an effective Plazatron or Plasma Laser Defense System. Such a system may seem like science fiction, but it is technologically fesible and is really the only way to guarantee that no nuclear missiles launched against the United States will ever strike their targets.

Yes, this early experimental version of the Plazatron used an attachment to a radio telescope for aiming purposes. There was static discharge. The experiment was classified and/or not published because of who has rights to some of the technology.
