Why is it tasteless? It fills the purpose, and promotes the cbs affiliation, and does so in a clean and nice matter. I like it actually. the nice silvers and blues.

OMG bringing back memories!! I'm from Kirksville, and the local station here is KTVO. I remember them using ALL of these music stingers in their newscasts, station ID bits, fillers, and more back around 2005! (sigh) good times! gooooooood times.....

its not vocally announced since there slogan seems to be "CBS 2 News". But the call letters "wcbs" can be seen at the beginning of each clip. ie... 0:02.
