This is the first feature length documentary from Geno Ray, featuring Lee Rice II. Our aim is to tell the story of a once prominent black neighborhood in Boise, referred to by locals as 'N*****Town'. This is the first of three trailers we will be putting together.

Great work Lee & Geno. I do remember River St. I went to a church on River St. with Pastor Martin. I also we use to train at the Family Fitness Center. Wow what great times.
I will be looking forward to more about this area of Boise.

I moved back to idaho when I was 14. My mom and step dad lived on Lee for a litle while in the late 60s and in the 90s I lived on Ash. I remebr I couldn't belive the hatred and racism in idaho, we didn't experience this in Barstow. If I had used the N word in my dads house, he would have busted my face open, but the rest of Boise, that's another story. My mom was native American and experienced a lot of racism, especially in the early 70s when that stuff was going on at Wounded Knee.

Wow, Lee. That was great. Such a wonderful thing that you have done. There is a lot of Black history down in that area. What are your plans for future trailers? Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Love, Unc

Although I'm going to say up front that Lee and I met just a few years ago, I just visited this to see what Lee is up to. For others sake, I'm going to take it upon myself to introduce my friend as a straight-forward, honest guy. That isn't saying much, because the rest will come. "So we can grow together." When I heard that, I realized how naturally we had spied each other. Nice touch, brother.
