  • when one hrvatian wants to go from split to osijek he passes through bosnia or passes trough senj and zagreb ??? it is very interesting for me

  • Hi,

    the thing is the following:

    If your primary concern are costs, then you should head up through Bosna. This option is 230 km shorter and there is no highway toll. However safety is an issue since road conditions in Bosna can be abysmal.

    If your emphasize is on time and safety you should take the Croatian loop via Zagreb. While this road is some 230 km longer and there will be a toll fee of about 30 Euro or roughly 36 US$ you will get there 1 hour faster.
