@TigerGrumman No doubt, you are spot on. I first saw CTA at "The Warehouse" in new Orleans 2X, and then again at The Astrodome in 77' and then on this tour. This concert was one of the best displays of live musicianship know to man, and I've played music since 66' and have literally seen them all

Just saw chicago at casino Regina tonite. Great playlist, not too many ballads very up beat. Great show. Still smiling!

@manulus James "Jimmy" Pankow - bio info on places like Wiki etc. He met up with Walter Parazaider while studying music as an undergrad at DePaul University in Chicago - the beginnings of the group back then - originally called Chicago Transit Authority.
Having EWF and the same stage with Chicago, is nothing short of Epic!
And, yes! The secret weapon of the 70's bands was indeed the live Wind instruments. Wind instruments add a dimension that simply cannot be easily replicated. Strings, round everything out and add the symphonic qualities that are sorely missed in today's style of music.
I don't think any decade produced a better overall quality of music, than the 70's.
