Dana is eight years old and anorexic. Cutting Edge follows Dana as she embarks on an intensive 12-week programme at a specialist clinic, to examine why younger and younger children are developing eating disorders.

children have access to the internet, with is subject to manipulation, and there are TONS of "thin-speration" sites on the web that attempt to convince young people to not eat and that anorexic is "pretty"..... the media and the web are to blame!

the number of kids admitted for eating disorders is rising because of the media. PERIOD. more regulations need to be put in place on the media and their control on the children's minds.

My best friend was anorexic and bulimic, and I remember researching everything about anorexia to help her overcome this and watching this. We watched it together, and she would tell me this "is exactly how I think." It was horrible watching her body become so pale and skinny, and she was constantly crying. I'm glad to report she is 90% better.

and why hasn't anybody from child services looked into this young girls home life? she is clearly either being ABUSED (probably sexually abused. sexual abuse is a huge cause of eating disorders and drug abuse), or living in an extremely unstable home from which she needs to be removed immediately.
