"101 Persian Dogs"

"101 Persian Dogs" is the story of stray dogs which are rescued by Lida, a 51-year-old woman who has devoted her life to save them from the dog hunters. After the Islamic Revolution, due to the Islamic belief that dogs are unclean, people had fewer
tendencies to keep dogs as pets. Therefore the number of stray dogs increased and they became the symbol of danger and disease. With the help of an NGO, Lida tries to change the belief among the authorities and the people. She intends to replace hate and indifference with love and affection.
