  • We love your video's,I've gotta ?.If I'm buying gallon size nacho cheese a creamy texture.can I do some canning with it.If so how would I go about it ?

  • @coldpak82 I wouldn't re-can it, they say you're not supposed to can dairy products, but I have frozen it in smaller portions.

  • very inspirational video. I saw fresh peaches driving in VT and said. Wow! I can make peach pie fill'n like you. Well, I came back from my own work'n and was oh soooo tired from being on my feet all day long and I had to cook 'em peaches asap before the fruit flies come... So, I used my crock pot and made some filling overnight. Then I was able to can the next day. Thanks for the inspiration. I couldn't do it the same as you but you got me inspired. Thank ma'am!

  • @peterpenny11 I'm glad you got it done. I know how hard that can be when you're still workin too.

  • I love your video's. but one question aint sure jel same as clear jel.my wife an I are trying to get started and we bought everything at walmart store but were closely watching your video first so we can learn more.we haven't started yet.also is any of the jel pak contain toxic chemical.

  • @coldpak82 Clear jel and Sure jell are entirely two different things. Sure jell is a pectin used in jams and jellies. Clear jel is a modified corn starch. The ingredients say "modified food starch refined from waxy corn". That's all that's in it. You have to use Clear jel for this recipe and it needs to be the non-instant type. It would've made life easier if they'd called it something else, lol.

  • @katzcradul I miss the old ping. Now it's more like a thud.

  • @imstillworkin You crack me up you modified corn starch junkie! You are quite welcome. You were one of the first people that popped into my head when I found it and the price was right! I have some of the instant clear jel also. It's handy and quick to have on hand. You can instantly turn any fruit juice into syrup with that stuff. There are so many ways to use it. I hope to get to using my thermflo and clear jel soon enough! I just have to tame the garden first!

  • Great! Beautiful cobbler. I never tire of hearing that ping! LOL

  • That looks realy REALY good. I bet it's sweet.
