Team Lioness Qualification Day 2010

Team Lioness Cycling is the only African American (Womens) team racing in Indiana University's famous sporting event, the Little 500 Cycling Race. The fierce trio have overcome multiple obstacles and made great sacrifices in hopes of making a name for themselves as well as proving to other minority groups that there is a place for them in this predominantly caucasian/ greek run event. This is the team's second year competing in the race and though only one of the original cyclists returned, the vet and her rookies are prepared to take on the world. This was qualification day (3/27/10) in order to determine who would make the cut to be in the race. ***The Women placed 15 out of 33 teams on qualification day and placed 25 on race day (4/223/10). Congratulations ladies and we hope you continue your legacy and improve year after year!
