300,000 Scientists Signed a Petition against Global Warming. Research Climategate. When i see food waste i see starving kids so iv started a project where i go to a market at closing time nd all the "Bad" food that "Snobs" dont want i take out of the bin and wash the veg/the damaged unclosed tins of pineapple etc I collect nd give to the Starving on the streets.. I work in Catering nd its a Shame to see the amount of food thrown out. Try it. 1 hr go to a market collect food give to the homeles.

I've heard plenty of excuses like "I don't want to get diabetes or overweight" or "the portions here are too big".

Hey you, newsflash. If you think the portions are too big at a restaurant, just eat it and eat less at home instead. All too often I see people throw away food only to make a decent dinner later at home. You won't explode if you eat a little more than normal at times.

nope we have no excuse.. while milions starve and would gladly steal to feed their children we throw away all this food. And damn it corporations have a huge share on that
