Only $3,700!!!!
Honestly, if it wasn't "reliced" (hit with sharp objects until it looks like shit) I might consider buying one.

Santa please, I'll never ask for anything else, just hand me 3700$ now !

Its not worth the money. Unless you have plenty of it.

What's the price range for those Total Tone Strats? MP me if you'd rather.
-
Is there much of a sound difference between the 62 and 57?
-
Yer the whole relic concepet comes from Keith Richards.
-
Oh damit, sorry, I was wrong... but they really should

LOL...We all know that's not true. I'm blessed to be playing for a living and carry either my '56 strat or '65 335 to every gig/session/lesson. They'll both out-live me and I wouldn't dream of replacing them with a relic. The relics "came about" because guitar players like to pose. I've been there, too, and we're all guilty. If somebody wants a vintage sounding Fender or Gibson style guitar I recommend G&L or Heritage. Fender and Gibson are working really hard to make up for lost time.....

I believe I can safely say that you guys can read my mind. . . This is literally the Strat I have been dreaming of. . . Fender should put out a non-reliced production model for about two grand, so us mere mortals could have a shot at owning one haha

That is an understandable view point. . . Thanks for not being a total dick like most relic haters!! haha
I'm sorry. Most of us working musicians who actually gig wouldn't spend the kind of money they want for these high end things, just to take it out to a gig and risk having beer spilled on it, possibly knocked over, etc. Who do they make these things for? Collectors? The stars even have these things things given to them to make the rest of us want one.

Actually the relics came about due to the fact that working musicians didn't want to take their vintage guitars to gigs.
