Part Four of Mostly Rock 'N Roll program featuring Ian Anderson interview and playing with orchestra. Filmed Aug '06 at Bank of America Pavilion with fabulous Lucia Micarelli on violin playing Kashmir.
"The gramophone or the pianola or wireless will give you exact interpretations of first-rate music, and you avoid catching cold in the concert hall, and THE FRENZY OF THE VIRTUOSO."
(Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, 1923)
Think Ian is more modest on stage. Indeed Lucia is hot, she looks hotter than she sounds...
@PERPITUITY Lucia recorded Kashmir with pianist William Joseph on both his albums, within and beyond. I'm quite fond of the versions.
