Are you brave to do this in Malaysia? UK is tolerant but imagine the consequences you face if in Malaysia

Yes. Why not? Have you forgotten the BERSIH rally in KL and the HINDRAF rally? Why should we fear retribution if we are airing genuine grievances in a peaceful manner?
A culture of fear will only stunt the growth and maturation of our society.

Well, what have you achieved now? Seems after the elections everything is back to what it was. Perhaps educating oneself so as to become top scholars without giving way to the Malays and Chinese would be a great start.

I would hardly say things in Malaysia are back to as they were before the elections - quite the opposite. I'm also bored to death of everyone on here telling everyone to concentrate on just studying. What makes people think that obtaining a good education and having a political opinion are mutually exclusive? In my opinion they are not.
What do you mean by 'without giving way to the Malays and Chinese'? At the end of the day we are all in the same boat and her name is 'Malaysia'.

Have you gone back recently? Tough luck it is still the same probably even more discontentment Malays and Chinese obtain scholarships but what do the Indians get? Do tell. Malaysia is not the same as it was 14 years ago and hopefully the boat doesn't sink. Oh! the pen is always mightier than the sword. Yes?

Your point seems to be changing with each post you make. First it was would you dare do this in Malaysia. Then it was study hard. Now, you seem to be implying that Malaysian Indians still have it harder than the rest. The point is that post-Hindraf, everyone now readily acknowledges the challenges and marginalisation faced by the community - even MIC. To expect changes overnight is unrealistic.
Do you believe the pen is always mightier than the sword?
