Chapter 21 Part 2

Kevin: She isnt dating Brian.
Denise: Not yet.

*Before anyone could say anything else, Rachel came back into the kitchen with Frankie on her back*

Frankie: Mommy!!! When will dinner be done?
Denise: Right now. Nick, go tell you father. Rachel, Kevin, & Joe, set the table please. Frankie go wash you hands.

*Everyone did as they were told and sat down, Paul & Denise brought the food to the table and sat down at the ends of the table. The seating order was: Denise, Frankie, Rachel, Joe, Paul, Nick, & Kevin.*

Paul: Rachel, would say grace, please?
Rachel: Sure. *everyone closed their eyes, bowed their heads, & joined hands* Dear Lord, we would like to thank you for all that you do for us, all you have bestowed upon us, and all you have blessed us with. You have blessed us with family, love, and friendship. I want to thank you for letting me meet this wonderful family to take me in so I dont accidentally burn my house down. We ask you to bless this food and our lives. Amen.
Everyone else:*in unison* Amen. *everyone opened their eyes, dropped each others hands, and started eating; right before he let go, Joe squeezed Rachels hand gently and whispered*
Joe: That was really nice. *smiles*
Rachel:*smiles & whispers back*Thanks. *out loud* Could you pass the potatoes, please?
Joe: Sure.

*Dinner passed by with conversation and laughter. Denise asked some questions about Saturday & Brian, which made Rachel a little uncomfortable because Denise and herself were the only girls amongst 5 guys.*

Rachel: Well talk later Denise, and then I can show you my dress. *smiles*
Denise: Alright, after dinner then. *smiles & everyone finishes their food, Denise stands to gather the dishes*
Rachel:*standing as well* Let me help.
Denise: No honey, youre our guest.
Rachel: Its the least you could let me do; I cant cook dinner for you guys because you need a place to live. *laughs* Plus I cant start a fire with dishes, soap, and water. *smiles and gathers some dishes that she takes into the kitchen.
Denise: She is so great. I just adore her. Your boys need to find girls like her.*she smiles & joins Rachel in the kitchen*
Paul: Yes, she is a very nice girl.
Frankie: Rachel is awesome! We are best friends.
Paul:*laughs* Boys, gather the rest of the dishes and take them to the kitchen, please.
Nick:*they take the dishes to the kitchen, Rachel & Denise are laughing* Do you want any help?
Rachel: Nick, as chivalrous and sweet as that isgo away. We are having girl talk. *laughs*
Denise: Yeah, shoo. *she lightly swats at him with the dish towel & laughs*
Nick: *mock-offended* Well, I never!!*scoffs*

*That sent the girls into a fit of giggles, Nick leaves the room shaking his head, with a smile. His mom does a lot for all of them and he is glad she has a girl to talk girly stuff with.* [AN. Awww, how sweet is Nick?]

*Fast Forward to 11pm*

*Rachel had helped Denise put Frankie to bed(top bunk) at 9:30pm and was now in her bed(bottom bunk) waiting for Nick to come back into the room. While she was waiting she heard his phone beep.*

Rachel:*when Nick walks in & gets into his bed, she turns on her side, facing him, propped up on her elbow* Your phone beeped while you were gone.
Nick:*grabbed his phone* Its from Selena.*answering Rachels unasked question*
Rachel:*watched a smile spread across his face as her read the text* You love her, dont you?
Nick:*pausing to think for a second* Yeah, I do.
Rachel:*laying back down & closing her eyes* Are you happy?
Nick:*smile evident in his voice* Yeah.
Rachel:*turning on her other side, away from him & yawning* Good. Im glad.
Nick:*chuckles* Goodnight Rachel.
Rachel:*sleepily* Night Nick.

[AN. Alright, very boring, but now Rachel is at the Jonass for a couple of days.PARTY!! jk But how will school tomorrow go? How will the Dance go? Will something big happen or will it be boring like this chapter? You will find out when I post next. Which wont be until Lindsay (iluvnickjonas210) posts Chapter 11 of her story.
