I strongly advise people not to stay at this chalet unless something is done about the fire exit and the evacuation route. The only fire door downstairs is in one of the bedrooms and opens inwards about 30 degrees then is stopped from opening further when it hits the bed. Once outside there is no path to safety, just deep snow and steep drops down the mountain. It is potentially more dangerous than staying in the chalet if there is a fire. This has been highlighted to skiworld management and staff and as far as I know nothing has been done about it.
I sent an email to the contact on world of soup website, guess that's you?

We are a couple in our 40's we have booked the double room with bath. By OK I mean was the chalet comfortable and food of reasonable quality. We aren't looking for any great luxury. We are usually out skiing all day so will only be in the chalet for eating and sleeping. Does the chalet have an area for storing skis and boots?

Hi
I guess it depends what you mean by OK? We are a couple in our 50's, not doddery but not spring chickens, and we expected a better standard of accommodation and service. Some others who were with us compared it more to a hostel than a chalet. How old are you, and how many of you are going together and which room(s) have you booked?

I've booked to go to this chalet in a couple of weeks. Apart from the fire exit problems was the rest of the chalet ok?
