Thanks fntime. Maybe I have support in my battle against "easy listening" or "smooth" jazz, most of which puts me to sleep, but not in a good way!

When it comes to jazz, I'll take early Coltrane. But when it comes to beautiful melodies, please leave out the jazz chord substitutions evident on this version. They deny the beauty of the intended melody, while offering nothing but conventional cliches in return.
