The Broadway and West End smash hit comedy 'The 39 Steps' debuted in Hong Kong this week and is based on Alfred Hitchcock's famous 1935 film of the novel by John Buchan.
Adapted by renowned British playwright Patrick Barlow, the play is a spy thriller mixed with a bit of Monty Python humour and follows the adventures of dashing hero Richard Hannay. The 139 roles in the play are performed by only four actors. A taste of the show was daringly re-enacted by the cast at a busy Central area.
