Tetra is our next-generation analog poly synth. Tetra takes the award-winning sound and features of Mopho, multiplies them by four, and packs them in a box less than half an inch larger!

Tetra has multiple personalities. It is a four-voice, analog poly synth, a sort of mini Prophet. It's a four-part, multitimbral synth with separate outputs, essentially four Mophos in one very compact box. And its a voice expander for other Tetras or the Prophet 08.

I love the new Mopho X4, I just wish it had been a keyboard version of this!

The multitimbrality and individual outs would have been killer

Any change in plans to develop one or update the Mopho X4?

No plans. This is essentially a Tetra Keyboard without multi. At this point we're focused on new designs!

Is there a built in sequencer creating these rhythms, or is it being triggered by another module/computer?

There are 4 parallel 16 step sequencers per voice, one for each of the 2 oscillators and one for each sub-osc. In Combo mode that's a total of 16 simultaneous 16 step sequencers that can be used to trigger notes or control various parameters like filter frequency, LFO's, etc.

Can you edit all parrameters without the software?

Yes. All parameters are accessible through the front panel controls.

This is one funky sounding little beast. I must add one to my studio set up. This will get used. I have a lot of synths I don't use but this has what I'm looking for.

See, this is why I got into electonic music. Analog synths sound like electricity in your ears and it sounds great. Can't wait to get one!!!
