Concerns grow over Netanyahu's rise - 21 Feb 09

Benyamin Netanyahu has been asked to form a government in Israel.

He lists Iran as the biggest threat to Israel. His tough stand on Hamas might also complicate peace negotiations with Palestinians.

Al Jazeera's Clayton Swisher reports on why the US may find it difficult brokering Middle East peace with Netanyahu as the Israeli PM.

There is NOT ONE reseach that concluded that ancient Hebrews (=Israelites) were blacks. Infact, the dead body of Joseph was found a few years ago, (as a mummy) and scientists included that he was white. In any case - Jews who settled in Europe did not mix with non-Jews, and kept their identity for hundreds of years. Jews have claim on Israel more than American have on the USA.

Not "most Israelis came from Europe" - 50% of the Israelis are decendents of Jews who came Arab and Muslim countries.

As for your third comment - Palestinians didn't live in that land before Jews... infact - 70% of the palestinians came to Israel in the 19century, mostly from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt.

@ofri75 Jews are not an ethnic group, look it up. You can convert into Judaism, does that mean you change race? No. Most early israelis came from Europe after world war 2. All Palestinians have been living in that land for longer than any modern israeli's descendants yet israel denies the right of return to Palestinians because it is a RACIST regime. Arabs in Israel can buy property and live whereever they like.. Many arabs in live in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and other places, including jewish cities like Eilat.

The land is not "exclusively Jewish" as some Arabs also live there, and enjoy full rights, as against in Arab countries,when rights are exclusively reserved only to Muslimslike Saudi.

Arabs can not buy property in israel and must annualy prove they use the land they live in or else it will be taken away. Arabs and Jews in Lebanon live in complete harmony and freedom.
