@jen Can you get a good sound with one Mike or is two prettty much necessary. I may have a floor mike. Ever try those . I would be doing rock so I defiantly need to be Miked up. Was debating between the pick up cajon and the bass drum cajon

Jen,
Thanks so much for doing making these vids! I just purchased my first cajon, a Meinl String Cajon w/Makah Burl front, and used for a stripped down acoustic gig last night. I was reaching way to far down the face plate and I was cupping way too much for the bass tone. Playing the same gig tonight and seeing how you play it will definitely help me re-think my approach. Oh and that Bass Pedal Cajon....pretty stinkin' cool! Suggestions on mics?

@hellcountrydrummer I like to put a 57 up front or an Audix i5, then either an Audix D6 in the back or a D12. You can even put a 57 or an i5 in the back as well. Add a little reverb, cut some of the mids, add a little bass and you will be all set!
