Credit for war victory should go to soldiers not General - Mervyn

When the Mavil Aru sluice gates were opened General Sarath Fonseka was not even in the country and when Prabakaran was shot dead he was in China, SLFP MP Mervyn Silva said today. He further claimed that the final hours of the war were fought by soldiers hence the credit of the war should go to the soldiers and not to Sarath Fonseka.
