The majority of Britons are descended from the Spanish.
Scientists have discovered the British are descended from a tribe of Spanish fishermen. DNA analysis has found the Celts — Britain's indigenous population — have an almost identical genetic "fingerprint" to a tribe of Iberians from the coastal regions of Spain who crossed the Bay of Biscay almost 6,000 years ago.

People of Celtic ancestry were thought to have descended from tribes of central Europe. But Bryan Sykes, professor of human genetics at Oxford University, said: "About 6,000 years ago Iberians developed ocean-going boats that enabled them to push up the Channel.

"Before they arrived, there were some human inhabitants of Britain, but only a few thousand. These people were later subsumed into a larger Celtic tribe... the majority of people in the British Isles are actually descended from the Spanish."

You´re pretty dark compared to Northern Europeans. Not that many blond or blue eyed people down there (there are some but not that many, there are white people in Brazil and Mexico too, you know) Still, it doesn´t stop Spain from being really racist. You might have the "white gene",it´s irrelevant. You are what you look like. If you have white skin, blue eyes and blonde hair and you tell me you´re dad is Danish and your mom is African, you´re white, no matter if you have the "black gene".

dude its no use in trying to explain it to them. i guess europeans have some type of white racial purity issues or something. if your from the states i see where your mind set is coming from. if you look white. your white! that simple! they take it to another level though lol they think that to be white you have to have blue eyes and blonde hair. i guess its just the rest of europe putting them down for it =X
