George Noory is SUCH A HUGE IDIOT. It makes my blood boil to hear how he screws up every single interview. Art Bell says he won't listen to any comments that attack a person's character, but calling Noory AN IDIOT is not an attack it's a fact and a truth, that can't be an attack on someone's character. Noory is RUDE to his guests and also to his callers and he's arrogant as HELL, he lies all the time and doesn't pay attention to what his guests are saying and this really screws up all the show.

hey i live in central ohio in columbus, and it happened here as well. It was eerie outside and smelled like something burning, before 7pm est.
There was no rain, no thunder, no lightning, just prompt wind pickup that peaked at over 80 mph for 3 to 6 hours. 500 million people had no power. There were trees in streets every other block within a 40 mile radius from where I live. It took approx a week to restore pwoer everywhere.

I never heard of this event or the one in Cincinnati, interesting. There are huge gasoline shortages in the south now too. Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte. US gasoline inventories are lowest since 1967!

These guys are correct about what they say but a year off. Hurricane Ike, Wall Street trouble. It was chilling to hear him describe this months events a year ago.
