  • yeees rees it ,..how muts?

  • i like marcel, he reminds me of Doc from back to the future. everytime he's in a hand im waiting for him to say "Great Scott!" lol.

  • this is actually exactly what Humberto Brenes does nowadays

  • Actually ... The way he played the last hand is pretty genious. Nowadays QQ would be a cbet in position on a K33r flop most of the time. However, by checking blind, Marcel induced his Villian to check back the flop. Next on the turn he acts like he wants to take the lead. Instead of that scenario, he just check/calls the turn, so he can get value on the river with a 1:7 suckbet at a point where he's more committed than Matt Damon is to this game. Maximizing valuetown Marcel! Bigtime!

  • wtf @ calling 100k more oop wit KJo?

  • :)

  • Give it to me, dont give it to everybody! :D

  • @VicenzoV bill...

  • Checking in the dark is standard, if you call from the blinds you're first to act but you would always check to the preflop raiser to see whether he will make a continuation bet. Anything other than a check is a donkbet, a play that makes you look like a donkey.

Checking in the dark is standard and it speeds up the game. People that hollywood for a minute and then check to the preflop raiser should be given a penalty

  • Marcel is a dumbass, a common dockworker in a suit. Besides who wears a suit with a tie and then puts on a baseball cap indoors ?

And he can't really play, he made a lot of money in the 90s and early 2000 when it was standard to be the only aggressive player at a table full of passive calling donkeys that played fit or fold poker. But as soon as the poker boom started and a big wave of good players arrived, he was nowhere. Now he's just one of the ten thousands of mediocre players.
