Here is a double ankle sweep from a stacking open guard. Basic but very high percentage move.

  • Submissions 101; Really like all of your videos, and find them extremely helpful in my own training, especially since there are no qualified instructors where I live (northern China lol). Just one request; please make them a little longer so you can discuss more counters and alternatives from a given position, rather than showing just a single move in isolation. I think that helps out a lot more to develop one's overall jits game. Thanks in advance, and keep up the great work!

  • dang my favorite videos about jj...good work guys

  • @avenger1000 he could step one of his feet back further than his grounded opponent can reach

  • thanks for the videos guys! finally a video that lets you comment!

  • How should the stacker position himself to avoid this move?

  • do you know anyone teaching jjj in Toronto??

  • did this today in training against a college wrestling coach. i could NEVER put this guy on his back. did this, mounted him instantly. GOOD SWWEP!

  • This is an awesome thing to know. It's easier to pull off than a knee bar or heel hook and if you had to use this in the streets, I doubt the average person knows BJJ and wouldn't see this coming. Could you imagine falling back like that on concrete. Martial arts should first be looked at from a self defense point of view and then sport and MMA. Everyone hating on this seems to forget that. Your average guy with no grappling experience would try to stand straight up in your guard.
