It's rice harvest season. People asking their neighbors for help, giving them lunch and pay each one about 8,000 - 10,000 Riels a day.

Notice the train track passing through the village (@00:50).

Wat Taset is situated about 10km southwest of Takeo city, Cambodia.

The village is rich of nature and sand. Coconuts and palm trees spread everywhere in the village. Palm sugar is made. It is also used to make "srar sor" (litterally means white liquor).

The path connected from one house to another, even front of villager's house mostly, is covered with sand. Even the road to where it leads, once used to be covered with sand. For those who aren't get used to riding (esp riding motorbike) on sand, they would fall of balance easily. But the villagers do make a fast move through it without difficulties. As time passes, the sand road was made much easier to drive, and you can hardly see any sand.

This clip was taken during his visit to his uncle house.
