german bass?!? ROFTL!!

@rem0rt Nothing these days really captures that sound because in those days it was analogue equipment and now it's mainly digital for convenience, although a lot of producers are heading back to analogue to a degree. In terms of this style of tune, I'd recommend artists like Code 3, Fracture & Neptune, Octane & DLR (kind of heavier), Dub Phizix. Soundcloud is a good place to start hunting - good luck!

@phantomaudio13 .. pretty much impossible . the low-ass "bworp" and "belch" sounds and general atmos .. the bizniz . listen to modern dubstep and similar , ed rush and optical opened up that sound for all to go from .
I beleive 110% that if they hadnt hit the scene , the heavier side of dub wouldnt have surfaced . these days tho .. i think their modern tunes are SHIT !!! ... everything since wormhole album has let me down . Sad days

You guys, I love this track, BUT, I also like most of his other early tracks, like Subway, which I like more than this one

to make a tune like this you need something real and analogue in the sound path.

whenever some popular song comes on from the 90s, and someone's like "omg i used to love this song!" and i say "no that song kinda sucked" and they say "oh yeah what did you listen to?" and i say "Drum'n'Bass!" and they say "German Bass?!" then i say "you know what, nevermind"

is there something like that now? with this 'woody' or 'bamboo' drum sound. any albums like wormhole? i sometimes hear somthing in that style nowadays, but nothing conceptional and full-lenghted, just one-another track in different releases from virus.early teebee doesn,t count )))
