Since the mid 50's, railroads have changed constantly. We used to have about 30-40 railroads criss-crossing the country several years ago, compared to the big four we have now (BNSF, UP, CSX & NS). While these beloved railroads are fading away from our eyesight, they will never leave our thoughts.

Wow, what a great train music video! I don't recognize the other locations, but I do regonize the Kentucky Railway Museum at Lyons (1:12-23) and the New Haven Yard and Shops (2:16-40). For a little trivia, that track is what remained of L&N's Lebanon Branch when CSX sold it to KRM in about 1990.  A second life indeed under the care of perhaps one of the best railway museums in the country complete with Sana Fe C-F7, EMD BL2, and Pacific 4-6-2 on duty. Thanks for making this video! :)
