Joe's pov
This is getting completely ridiculous. I've looked everywhere, but not a sign of Demi can i find. It's like she's disappeared off the face of the earth. Or maybe I imagined her. Yeah, maybe that's it. Convinced I was imagining things, i walked to the first class of the day. I was sitting doodling in my book, when there was a knock at the door. The teacher walked over to it. Whatever, probably not important. I looked at the empty seat beside me. This sucks. Coming to school a week later than everyone else meant i sat by myself in most classes. "Joseph ! Can you pay attention please ?" I looked up to find the ugly face of Miss Walker looking at me. Ughh, not a good sight at this time in the morning. I'm convinced she grows a new mole everyday. Ew, that one has hair on it. She's moaning at me. She does go on alot. And what's with the hair ? It looks like a ginger in denial. And like it's been stuck into a plug socket. Not like Demi's, Demi has the most beautiful, shiny, har i've ever sa- Snap out of it Joe. You imagined her. There's no other explaination. I tuned into what Miss Walker was saying. " Since you are failing this class Joseph, I'm going to sit the new girl next to you, maybe she'll be a good influence. She's already moved up a grade in this subject, which is why she's here. New girl, over here. "

Demi's pov
"Uh.. Yeah, I do actually have a name it's De-" I tried to tell her. "Yeah, i dont care, just sit next to him and influence him." she replied. "Wow, rude much ?" i muttered as I slid into the seat. I looked at the guy next to me. " Hey I'm Demi," i said, and i turned around again. He turned round, "Demi ?" I looked up. "Yeah, wh- Joe!" "You two, be quiet there, i'm teaching. " I heard miss Walker yell. " Yeah, I wouldnt call that teaching. The only thing she can teach is how to lose a guy." I heard Joe whisper. I stifled a laugh. This shall be fun. I felt something touch my arm, and saw a note. I picked it up and read it. 'Hey Demi. Listen, i'm kinda having trouble in this class. I dont suppose your any good at it ?' i scribbled back, 'I'm okay, do you need help ?' The next note read, 'Yeah, you couldnt tutor me, could you ?' Suddenly the bell rang. I quickly wrote another note and sat it on his desk, before leaving.

Joe's pov
'Sure' After reading that note, I literally wanted to run about screaming and dancing. But I didnt. Cause that would be embarrasing. Yeah.

*at lunch*
Joe's pov
I was in shock. I had finally figured out who Demi was friends with. The nerds. The most amazing girl I have ever met was a nerd. What am I going to do ?
