@TLers if you didn't know this, what you said is just theory. In fact, I even touched the baby upon their birth and their mom still take care of them. As long as you have a good relationship with the mom and she knows your smell.

leave the mom and babies alone -___-... if the mom leaves the area (babies cant follow cuz they blind still) the babies will die ._. and dont touch the babies...if they have ur scent the mommy will eat it :(

but you realy shuld not tuch them. one time my sister tryd to help a baby bird that had fallen out of its nest and the mother didnt take care of it.
