Americans should be glad that the serbs didnt have S300 air missiles. One battery of those damn things can cover whole Bosnia.
May you heard it in the news that Russia has canceled under pressure of US a sale of S300 systems to Iran.
Army generals said if Iran got S300 batteries Israel would loose 40% of its whole aircraft in the first strike. Russians dont have good jets but they are real pro in securing the skies.

SA-6 in the right hands and right training is deadly, even the old S-125 Neva is deadly (took down the F-117 Nighthawk, 1999 over Serbia) Now it makes me think of the iraqi AA defence, they had both but still they did not peforme well vs allied planes, bad training i guess.
